I don't quite know what happened to November. I remember flashes of it, but it feels a lot like I hit warp drive through the month and have landed squarely at the beginning of December. I always have such grand plans for what I want to accomplish during the holidays and somehow forget that I still have to keep up with all the day to day tasks. However, I remain committed to making all the things I want to make and doing all the things I want to do over the next month. I will even throw a trip to California into the mix to add just a touch more challenge to the task, but I will remain committed. Here are some of the things I have plan to complete:
- A twin sized quilt
- Wreaths for inside and outside the house
- Make and send holiday cards
- Sew a couple of gifts for little J
One thing I won't have to make is wrapping paper. Oh, I've done this in past years, but there is just so much great wrapping paper out there, that I would rather just buy some. I thought I'd share some of the great papers I've found this year.
Ring-a-ding and Darling Fawn from Hello Lucky.
Proud Peacock by Whimsy.
And the perfect one for the forest-lover in your life, Forest by Enna.
Liv by ErinRuth.
Babushka gift boxes from Pixels Plus Paper.
It's time to get on the ball and order these so I have something to use to wrap all the gifts I need to make.
